Our nature holiday house is built from pure solid timber on the Holz100 principle. This particular way of building brings with it several qualities that make your stay noticeably more comfortable – from a healthy indoor climate through step-free access and Feng Shui to being suitable for allergy sufferers.
You step inside, and the room feels different from any other holiday flat – calmer, warmer, somehow quieter. That comes down to the walls: solid layers of timber, dowelled crosswise, entirely without glue or metal. This solid wood regulates humidity naturally and keeps the indoor climate noticeably even – you don't have to do anything for it, it's simply there.
The Braunhörnle and Hohe Stein apartments are accessible at ground level and equipped for guests with disabilities. In planning them we drew on the expertise of the specialist practice “mahp – barrierefreies leben & wohnen” (Hans-Peter Matt), so that rest is possible for everyone.
Our rooms are designed according to Feng Shui – not through Asian objects, but through the harmonious interplay of natural forces. The house was deliberately set into the landscape of the Elz valley with its hills, mountains and rivers. Ecological construction and materials close to nature support that harmony.
Living in solid timber: because the house is uncompromisingly free of glue and chemicals, it is particularly kind to allergies. Combined with natural floors and tiles, it makes for a home where every guest can breathe easily.
